Attorneys have an ethical duty to be competent in whichever area of law they practice.  Practitioners of cyber law are confronted with ever-changing data privacy laws and ever-evolving cybersecurity threats.  In order to maintain competency in this highly complex area of law, ongoing continuing legal education and professional development are critical.
